A boy I once new
Used my heart
and broke it in two

You left me dangling off of a cliff I didn’t want to go to in the first place
You whispered sweet nothings into my ear
and I swallowed it up like I had been in an emotional desert for months

You left me broken
Little peices of a porcelain doll in the middle of crowd
Look close, and you may see one final glass tear
slide down her cracked cheek

You used me
Played with my heart
As if it hadn’t already been broken time and time again

I fell for the mask you pulled off so well
Or maybe it’s my fault for being so ignorant
Maybe I am the one to blame

I was far too wrapped up in the moments
Not thinking of how well I knew you
Not remembering the silent promise to never fall victim to your touch

I fell for you
Just like you knew I would
Just like you planned

You strung me along
like a childs play thing
“you go where I go”

In the end you just switched me out for something better
In the end you left me
You left me

And the worst part
Till the very bitter end
I actually belived
I actually ALLOWED myself to believe…
