As I lay and think of him
I’m never in time
My watch cease the ticking
He conquers my mind
Seeing those beautiful eyes as I close mine
Reminds me of those
Sweet passionate nights
I’d lay in your arms like a new born child
I never knew eyes could have a beautiful smile
When I realize you’re not lying next to me
A sudden punch to the chest, I can’t breath
Remembering the still nights I’d lay
And caress my pillow
Wide awake
In my mind you would sing me to sleep
Your voice is as sweet as an angel’s harmony
I could listen to your melody for days
Times I'd be Itchin for my future
Because I knew that with you it laid
I confided in you like a child’s diary
And you had me wide open, lets speak of the irony
I lost myself inside of you
So deep that you can’t find me
I found myself dangerously in love with you
So deep that I could not hide it
My love has been mounted in you since that early April day
You watched me run away from my pain, and you watched those steps that I had to take
