Scalding droplets pound my back,
Harsh yet like a welcomed attack.
Washing off the sins I can’t confess.
Suds roll down, from white to grey.
Hoping to get this filth away.
Shedding me from my discusting deeds,
Water frees my skin from its prison of dust,
Burning off the guilty lust.
Knowing it won’t be enough.
To purge me of this crime.
But all I wanted was to make him mine.
