NIGERIA’S CRY OVER LEADERSHIP NEGLIGENCE
Leaders are ordinary people who accept or placed under extraordinary circumstances that bring forth their latent potential, producing a character that inspires the confidences and trust of others.
‘’Great people are ordinary people with extraordinary amounts of determination’’, True leadership is born out of a guiding vision and a passion to accomplish a noble task, and to inspire others to develop and release their potential. It derives its fulfilment from the success of others. There is a common saying that ‘’Readers are leaders’’ but our leaders despite their literacy Nigeria youth cannot figure out either they are building library or mortuary for this great country.
Thank God that Niger Delta issue was resolved but how about these northern armies called book haram.’’ People ask the difference between a leader and a boss. The leader works in the open and the boss in covert. The leader leads and the boss drive’’ Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919) US Republican President. I think leadership is not by force but by choice, everybody cannot assume the position of a leader, it can only be aspired, but it is a pity that our leaders are not representing our civic right, they have nothing in their portfolio to offer us. In the bible days there is only one pharaoh but presently pharaoh have grandchildren who oversee the affairs of their grandpa in Nigeria no longer Egypt. What baffle me most is that Nigerian is still searching for Moses while their Moses remains a fugitive. Many politician attained their dream office and leave without adding any transformation but everything they met in the office we either standstill or liquidate, while some of our leaders want the best for this country, but the bad advice from their political parties, business associate and friends will not permit them. ‘’The leader is like a shepherd, he stays behind the flock, letting the most nimble go on ahead, where as the others follow, not realising all long that they are being directed form behind. there are times when a leader must move out ahead of the flock go off in a new direction, confident that he is leading his people the right way’’ Nelson Mandela. But Nigeria case is different, while their lackadaisical characters have jeopardized future of many Nigerian, the most annoying is that they augment and alleviate the problem instead of them to eradicate poverty, unemployment, despite the good resources that God have embedded since
creation but most of the leaders that we have are squanderers luke15:13-16; 1sam15:15-23, showing the account of king Saul who disobey God instruction which is quite related to some leaders who mismanage or usurp the masses money and divert it to their private accounts, masses are weeping, churches are not exempted but God is not move, I believed with these statement many are discombobulate, when the solution lies in our hand mat11:12, many believers today are running away from politics they prefer to called it name’’ dirty game’’ and they allow the unbeliever and the backslide believer to denied us of our right; one thing I know for sure that God will not come down from heaven to deliver us, our destiny only lie in our hand we have to wake up to accept responsibility, Thank God is 52 years today that we gain Independence, we also give honour to almighty that Nigeria has not turn to pieces. Our confession can bring about our possession; start prophesying everyday by copying the American that God bless NIGERIA.
KNUKE ROCKNE says: When the going got tough, the tough get going; when the roads are rough, the tough rise to the occasion, they win, they survive and they come out on top.
Martin luther king jnr says: you either crawling, walking, jumping, flying, In life you must keep moving, Nigeria @ 52 Independence where are we. I believe ‘’our confession can bring about our possession’’ start prophesying everyday by copying the Americans that God bless NIGERIA.
