A Digital Playground

This is my real-life.

Here I'am a pilot in a battlemech fighting with my friends for the money of the Innershpere. Our Cataphracts & Jenners, our Atlases and Hunchbacks all walking around like lords of the battlefield.

Giant walking Titans formed by and destroyed by mans hand.

Blue streaks of Particle Projection Cannons, suns of Long Range Missiles of 5.10.15 and 20, green, red and blue lights of lasers passing over my digitized Mechwarrior Avatar.

Yet there is no reality, all hte physics and weapons, both blaanced and not, the classes I've scrimped and and saved for, engines, ammo, & so on. It all sits on a disk no larger than my hand.

At the end of the day.

When my realities day finally turns to night, the digital playground is powered down.

My true life, the one with consquences comes back into focus, My family friends to worker acquaintences they become my world.
