with the race of bliss

produced by that first kiss

the blood rushed to where

the willing go, when all

the worry drifts away between

two people who’ve come to

the conclusion that this is

where they both want to be

at the right time in the right

place sharing the right amount

of wonder & physically

accompaniment---it all brings

the senses right down to the

wire, making the hearts roar &

the minds echo, as if to sing

back to each other through

staring bedazzled eyes, songs

that neither know the words

to but share in tandem

simultaneously, when the

flirting leads to gentle exchange

of touching that leads to

this moment that will be

remembered, yet distorted,

be it for better or worse,

an illusion left for however

it all turns out.
