i can’t help but wonder where we’d be without the god that is run to when people are fucked over by those that profit from the same god being there your best friend when the storm clouds are hovering and when the walls have caved in it simply flabbergasts me when the violence runs red flowing like the last river through all of our heads the roofs with people screaming and shouting for help are the same people we step over to our 9 to fucking 5 jobs and as long as they are out of the way in alleys back streets corners and former babylon cities we can do our best to address our personal lives and leave the tragedy to the tv. lighting the fuse is so much more than the spark that motivates me when these brothers & sisters are much more than akin to said holy fuck fiction books they are our fellow species members and they’re drowning in our witness and the neglect doesn’t end when we come to our borders my friend they are nothing but invisible lines drawn in like global warming gives a fuck if we have a stars & stripes tattoo even though you know soon in the coming future that’s all that’ll matter for you when we flick our green dollars backed by momma chinois we’ll be able to buy the bottled water that’s been stolen from the mouths of the poor those that reside in other places that we’ll think of no more what it takes to forget those people without the shiny white pearly skin who strut our stuff over others western euro-american i say i say the bloody writing’s on the wall but we soon won’t be able to read it because our educational system’s gonna fall it’s gonna fall like fucking humpty-dumpty on his best falling day cracking all over the pavement leaving our kids unable to read unable to write unable to do much of anything except play fucking call of duty but that will make them great soldiers that will make them great targets that will make them great fodder for the next war they have nothing to do with & still the god-fearing swear he’s gonna come in what form or when or where they aren’t quite sure of but they’re waitin’ and they’re hopin’ so anesthetized it’s sick if only the letters ran under ever single screen like the one that mos gave us in this video’s clip like back in the day of rage against the machine’s people of the sun you had to slow down your vcr after the recording was done and those truths they lay hidden but they’re there if you look i guess all it takes is that motivation that stops gaming long enough to open a book or read the paper or have a listen to the artists not on a single mission but the day in and day out fight which they feel that they must do in order to make a place habitable enough for their kids to be swallowed whole in doom.
