lay down

in a pile

of wet

leaves

enveloped

by the

morning

dew

letting it

secret its

juices all

around &

inhale the

deep

aroma

making

the spine

tingle---

rest all

the muscles

& close

the eyes

breathing

in, while

the ideas

flood the

mind &

the senses

adhere to

all that is

around, a

flush of

experience

dawning

just for you.

(before long the insects begin to find their way to you, climbing up the back of your bare feet, skittering along the length of your legs, dragging with them all the bacteria, all the disease that they might not even know they have, bringing them to the areas of your body where the most warmth is produced---your crotch, your armpits---making their way inevitably to the orifices that exist, so that they may burrow inside you to develop further, creating parasites & festering within.)

but,

oh yes,

the clouds are

breaking up

&

el sol está saliendo.
