I see my boys lye in front of me with not one breath left in their soul
they came to back me up, to make sure I was safe and not wounded but still
I regret them even coming, I was the dummy that let my buddy go down
“Man down Man down!” I yell never let a man down, but my buddy was laying
in front of me dead, bleeding maybe drown, I stopped and cried on the ground
I screamed at the enemies, and went crazy, maybe back home something like that,
will prove I’m not lazy, I fought until I saw every man but one down, and I shout to him
saying “look around, This is every single man of ours down, and we were the ones who
brought them around” The boy looked at me, and toyed with his eyes, they sight was
astounding and now all I could hear was flies
He praised me as I never once did to myself, I told him to “ get off your knees,
leave these barriers , with your things down come around, or our strings wont ring”
the anger rushed in side of me, my heart beat so fast, I could feel every vein pumping
with blood, making my heart beat a faster thud, I left with no wounds, by pain in my soul
my brothers lye dead, fighting for me with the glory of two men standing, I though back and
said “NO mercy”, I raced to the thug, and grabbed his knife, I shot a glance at his face a stroked
his throat, showed him who the last one standing without one toss and no fight,
I knew he would never see the light
be live down below in the dark, no sight
he will be remembered as a strong thug warrior
but my brothers were stronger as they backed up
as soldier, who had a heart of gold
many stories to be told
