Too shrewd to know their folly
How else to tell them only
If seen, tho blind; their eye that saw
But turned and thus remains in flaws
Face their deeds and reaps their sow
Lost in time and so is their soul

Too tough to claim their weakness
But blames and names a witness
Self dwells high; esteem stooped low
Asked and shown the path to go
Speaks of motion; yet to move
Lost in slumber; still they snooze

Too flawed to know their lacking
Claims king without the crowning
Ought to fight but flees from fright
Wrongs are right; a pitiful plight
Soon their nights will turn to day
To find their soul, maybe in gray
