Passion

Trapped in bittersweet memories,

like velvet wrapped chains,

that bind me to you,

I remember the day we first met,

in Fourth Block,

But, you do not know this,

As you walk by,

unknowingly dragging my heart behind you,

you never asked me,

But I gave it gladly to you,

you look at me, and smile,

but even you are blind to the love in my eyes,

I have for you, and no one else,

Everyone else sees what you cannot,

A woman in love with you,

Everyone else tells you what I will not,

That I burn for you, my darling,

Completely bound to the fires of love,

So, you stay there smiling,

And I stand here, smiling,

And burning,

You speak,

We flirt,

I bite my lip, to keep desperate confessions from spilling out,

I won't tell, I couldn't tell you,

So, we may never know, my love,

Just how our passion really burns!
