In a Snap is the title of this poem because it covers the relation of time to losing things, and it just meshes well with my moderate feels as of late. This one is short, and definitely at the bottom of my bad poetry, so blah.

Things aren't sunshine,
and not everything is mine,
but it works out;
I'm fine with what I have and it makes me happy.
I recall every moment with her, smiling and laughing...

I took a step outside and it all exploded,
everything I knew was fading.
What's with that face, I'm not joking.
Time itself was on the brink of erasing,
the place I called home was gone and corroded.
The cause is unknown and error I was facing,
one second is all it took to have it all eroded.

Tell me, where do I go from here?
Chaos and destruction strikes fear,
and that's all there is.
I've lost my reason to live,
and that's all that there is,
nothing.
