Poem

A flame...

Not a match, a light small and insignificant

Not a blazing wildfire, lighting the horizon

No, you were like my sun, streaking across my sky

Blinded by beauty and happiness

Nieve... Too trusting.

I didn't fall, i jumped.

Flew downward,  an unending spiral.

But there were no hands to catch me,

no soft landing.

Heavy wings, growing wider

Slowly, painfully, pulling.

I refuse to hit bottom, I never give up

It's not in my nature.
