This piece is about the lost hope that many children fall into because they are a product of a bad environment. Many times we look at the rough neighborhoods as being a bad place, with poor uneducated people. But we must help break the cycle and give hope to the children in less fortunate neighborhoods.

Lost Hope in the Ghetto

The only problem I see with the ghetto is it has lost its hope,

A world of people that never hear "yes" and tired of hearing "no",

Many people close their eyes to the ghettos and wish they did not exist,

But they know exactly where to go when its time to get that, good ribs and fish,

The children of the ghetto are not all bad,

But really can you blame them when most of them grew up without a dad,

Imagine living in a place surrounded by the negatives of life,

If you think you would still be in the same position, you better think twice,

I challenge everyone in the world to help make a change,

If we can only touch one child, then that child's life we can rearrange,

If I told you this was your family, maybe your heart would beat a different stroke,

So let's all make a difference and give the children back that lost hope.
