Sometimes we love many things, but this poem asks can you really love something or someone if you are not happy.

In the world that I live in there is love and happiness,

Some people feel that there should be love even when there is sadness,

Love without happiness is like hurt without pain,

To have one without the other there can never be a gain,

I’m not afraid to look for my happiness because I know love will follow,

But to have love without happiness is like a beautiful tree that’s hollow,

Love without happiness is to make a noise and never hear a sound,

On the contrary, to have love and happiness is to walk and never touch the ground,

In this world we get caught up and love for the wrong reasons,

To ask ourselves is it real if it changes like the seasons?
