As I write this apology

I cry tears

To who, for you Abigail

I wish you well.

On your journey to new adventures

Time to take this trip

From the past

To take this dip

Into the pool of new beginnings

That night keeps playing in my head

Like a cd stuck on repeat

It needs to stop!

Now!

I’m sorry

For this love you have for me

It's wrong

Don't you see?

I committed a sin

A crime

This thing between us should have not been

Live and forget

I’m in a cage

I can no escape

To rot for all ages

You are in good shape

Make your way

To better things

Start a new day

And never commit a sin

I’m sorry

For hurting you, as I did

Take this apology

And move on to better things
