Every morning I face the mirror,
& I ask myself the same question.
Every morning. 6 o'clock.
What's so special about this girl?
I can tilt my head all I want,
I can search in the deepest parts of my soul,
But answers....
Answers never come.
Words never come.
Nothing ever comes.
Waiting just takes it to a whole new level
As anticipation builds,
Hope builds, then declines,
Like a rollercoaster, only more fatal.
The heart cannot withstand such abuse;
& I, I cannot withstand such abuse.
Every morning. 6 o'clock.
And what do I have to look forward to?
Just another day,
With the same people,
With the same lost heart as it has always been.
& Guess what?
Even though 6 o'clock tells me nothing,
I know.
I know many things that words can't describe.
& What's 6 o'clock?
It's special.
