I felt very sentimental while writing this.
Perspectives are always different until you know what goes on in another's head.

I put up these walls
So you can tear them down.
I hide my emotions, my fears,
Fearing I'll drown.
I make it complicated
But I never asked for this.
I try to run away
& I end up with resist.

I've been told to breathe,
I've been told to awake.
& Everyday I forget
Everything's at stake.
I feel electric
So full of static
& It's all behind locked doors
With troubles so climatic.

I find life transparent
I find myself as thin air
I never stay in one place
Like the thoughts we should share.
They tell me to live
They tell me to touch the flame
& I feel the heat
But I don't feel the same.
