Holy Tears

Dark clouds make the gloomy weather
Lightning cracks and makes earth shatter
Stormy winds from northern skies
Where above all these rain lies

Glistening raindrops fall like tears
Through the window panes I peer
“Are these God’s tears?” I’ll wonder
Up above the sky and yonder

Rain is like the heaven crying
Holy tears for someone dying
God’s tears will bring salvation
To the people of the nation

With the magical touch of rain
It will rid of all your pain
Faded flowers spring to life
And the river comes alive

Bitter holy tears of God
Brings miracles for all who sought
