A Predator seeking the game of live flesh is stalking his prey though a dark forest, but by the end of the story, who is hunting who?

He stood atop the barnch of a tall oak tree. Looking upon the prey that walked carelessly though the forest, he smiled greedily as the small shape of a man lumbered and fell over an outstretched root. He could of attacked right then and there. He could of, except for the fact that he liked to play with his food.

He continued to look on as the man pulled himself up and took a swig from the bottle he had in the bag. Our predator could smell a hint of strong liquor coming from the open bottle as the pour soul walked on. This made the predator's smile widen. He loved having a bit of flavor with his meal. He stood up and glided towards another branch just above where the man stopped. He looked down at him and couldn't see his face. The drunk's features were concealed with a very large black hood. He contiued to voyeur the man as he lifted the bottle to his lips one more time and took a drink. The drunk stumbled down and seemed to pass out.

From high up in the tree, the predator looked down upon the man and slowly climbed down. Looking straight down as he climbed with his stomach against the tree and his head to the ground, he clawed his way down the tree, inching closer and closer to his prey. The predator's eyes glowed red and his fingernails grew longer as he got closer and closer to the ground.

The stalker's descent came to a halt as he finally reached his prey. He looked down upon the sleeping figure and his smile grew larger. He grabbed hold of the man's neck and picked him up high into the air. He pulled down the hood of his food and reached in closer for the drink of ecstacy that was cursed unto him.

As he reached in closer his hand found the main artery in the man's neck. He felt a soft beating pulse dancing under the man's skin. The predator threw the man down and began climbing up the tree again. He was almost to the top branch when he felt a sharp pain in his right leg. He tried to move, but it wasn't listening. He looked down and gave a shriek of surprise when he found that his foot was impaled to the tree.

"Sorry," yelled a voice from the ground, "I was aiming for your head."

"I will have your heart Hunter," cried the makeshift predator.

"Why don't you scuttle back down here so we can finish this, by the way, tag your it," yelled the Hunter.

The predator, now the prey, ripped the silver steak out of his foot and dived down towards the new predator. Claws outstreatched, he latched on to the Hunter's large trench coat. The power of his dive senthe and the Hunter crashing to the muddy forest floor. The two gladiators rolled around on the ground for a few minutes before each warrior was back to their feet ready to launch at each other again.

"I have been tracking you for a few days now bloodsucker,"the Hunter exclaimed.

"The name is Revanous, Hunter. You will remeber that, if I let you live."

"I'll put it on your tombstone when I nail you back into your coffin."

The Hunter took off hiscoat and lunged at Revanous. Revanous moved to the left and shifted behind the Hinter. He swung his right hand and almost caught the Hunter in the back of the head, but just before the blow wasmet, the Hunter ducked and choopedRevanous's hand off. Revanous moved back until his spine met with a tree. The Hunter stood in place just long enough for the limb to fall to the ground. He ran up to the wounded Revanous and plunged the blade deep into the vampire's black heart.

"Before you die, I have a message for you," the Hunter moved closer to Revanous and twisted the blade slowly as he movedcloser to the dieing vampire, "tellthem in hell that Marcus Cain sent you."
