As I walked down ol' memory lane

I realized how utterly lost I had become

Lost in my own preoccupation of things

A curtain pulled from the window

To reveal something totally unfamiliar

A new scene, fresh from the haze

Almost a new perception

My attention drawn, like a bullet

To your face, staring back

Your eyes, connected to mine

Tunnel vision, now bridging time

And we both climb inside

And now it all comes back to me

You are me, now

And I am remembering my birth
