A click drops the hammer as the explosion is released,

In a morbid continuation of his exasperation, he sleeps,

And when the bell tolls and there is no sky overhead,

He lay forever placid in a state of regret.

For actions much like words, can never retreat,

To a safer place much like his lodgings, to be barred by tight teeth,

Softly laying on a pillow long after faces weep,

He's settled down in new turned ground,

And in the belly of the beast.
