When the Games Come To Town

London; expectant

Patriots; jubilant

We’ll all be ready when the Games come to Town

The weather; irrelevant

The venues; poignant

We’ll have a ball when the Games come to Town

Our doubters; abundant

Olympians; defiant

There will be medals when the Games come to Town

Transformation; assuredly

Renewal; hopefully

We’ll stand together when the Games pass through to Town

History; created

Future Hopes; ignited

There will be joy when the Games pass through Town

Records; broken

Titles; taken

There will be awe when the Games come to Town

Hearts; swelling

Adrenaline; pumping

It will be fierce when the Games come to Town

Finishing lines; crossed over

Hurdles; surmounted

Dreams will come true when these Games come to Town

In short

Amazing! Amazing

We hope for Amazing.

We pray for Amazing when the Games come to Town.
