I call my boyfriend a tree trunk,

Because when you hug him, he's just so solid.

Full of life and all that energy,

If you only knew what I felt and see.

Oh, how much love I do feel for him,

That tree trunk keeps me light on my feet.

Between us, there's never, ever any hate,

I think with us, it was just fate.

I would love to run my fingers up his bark,

And, that mostly I do love it in the dark.

While another leaf (day) falls to the ground,

Loving him never changes like the wind all around.
