A A A

She stands, peering over the cliff,
Inching farther, and further towards the ultimate decision
She tilts her head upwards,
And during that last second
It seems as if the sun and moon colide in the sky

A smile spreads slowly across her face
As she steps off, into nothingness
She spreads her arms
She feels as if she's flying.
A look of peace washes over her

She sees the earth spinning closer and closer.
And in one final act, screams for joy at the top of her lungs
The earth stops.
A brilliant flash appears in the sky.
She lands gracefully on the tip of her toe

She turns and sees her body laying in the meadow
She laughs, and turns a perfect pirouette
And glides in her ballet slippers
Away from the pain
Into a more perfect world
