look up in the heavens what do you see?

Turn all the lights out, find the darkest place

Don’t the stars look fine?

A billion miles away shining

Stretched out gazing into the heavens in awe

How amazed and insignificant we are

Part of all this but impossibly small

Space repeats, the mind continually invents

Infinity out there, infinity within

Never-ending possibilities

Please you are a delight. I know what you mean. The last two lines jumped out at me as I searched for an end to my musing

If only I could find a last two lines for the whole of the poem then I might just have got this poetry thing off to a T

Bingo! We have another winner. I love feeling how small I am (hmmm I can hear the jokes now!) I mean I love feeling how big the universe is. I find it comforting for some reason that would take me infinity to explain!

The simple things can make a good poem!

Nice Job!

Well first of all, I was like, "YES, its small." Then I was like, "owe man I must a read it," but no. Awesome dude, you know,,,Anyhow, I truly believe in trying to expand your awareness as deep is you can in the infinte. Within and without. And you did it here, and in not so many words, as hoped for in this scary batttle of chance. Thanks, I needed that! Loved it

Adolation from you is a real honour. You approach life from a different angle from most so to weave some magic on you is a real pleasure.

And yes it is a scary battle of chance, there is a poem in those words for sure

Peace to you

Wu Lang

Hi Sir Dibs,

This poem is such a Masterpiece! A very short poetry but the words inside is incredible, magical, and it speaks a character of a man who's sweet, romantic and very thoughtful...Back in the Philippines, when it's full moon and the stars seem so happy encircling the moon...and I'm sitting on a big rock beside the seashore...thinking...planning for the future.Plus the fresh air and the lights of the fishing boat dancing in the middle of the sea...

Your such a brilliant writer...plan to be your fan...

Gonna click "i like it!!!"too.

Your words in reply to my poem are very lovely. Thank you. And thank you to for the description of the moon and the stars. The sea and the boats. To sit and to take the world in like that is so wonderful isn't it. Not something I can do by the sea. To far inland. I prefer the mountains and lakes. Though the weather is not often warm enough for sitting and musing.

I will be sure to read some of your work

Take care

Such a beautiful poem Dibs. This one can take you away and make you think. Thank goodness for possibilities, gives us something to hope and dream about. Sometimes we just need to be reminded of this tho. Truly enjoyed this. :) Sherry

Sometimes Sherry these thoughts are just waiting just under the surface waiting for something to release them. It was my friend here that allowed this fleating thought to escape. And it is such a pleasure to share this with them

Thank you
