The Trenches

There are millions of them,

Rats here, rats there, rats everywhere,

I thought trying not to get shot was hard,

But trying to get rid of these rats is harder!

There are millions of them,

Germans here, germans there, germans everywhere,

I thought trying to get rid of these rats was hard,

But trying to kill these germans is harder!

There are millions of them,

Bullets flying here, bullets flying there, bullets flying everywhere,

I thought trying to kill these germans was hard,

But trying to dodge these flying bullets if harder!

There are millions of them,

Shells here, shells there, shells everywhere,

I thought trying to dodge of these flying bullets was hard,

But trying to avoid these shells is harder!
