If I'm a poet, then we're all just fucked. I got all the pressure on my shoulders. I gotta make people feel free. Be the light in the dark. Spread the dreams on the nightmares. Live in the emptiness to warn the lives that are on there knees. I don't wanna help anymore. Take this never ending game from my head. Take my broken memories, free me from this curse of loneliness you shoved upon me. I seek the warmth, the heat. I'm struggling to get back on my feet. If writting about my past self helps you get threw the moment, then I'm no better then a sad song on repeat. I wanna be able to scream \"I love you\" and not feel the demons tugging at my feet. I shouldn't have to relive the depression. The feeling of flipping back to that state of mind like looking at a old photo album. I'm ready to move on.. This is the new me. The rust from the chains stain my wrist. I'm free from it. Its been a sad road but I'm finally seeing the light for my own.
