The air was smooth. It was quiet. The only sound came from the crows circling above. It was a lonely place. A place where time doesn't even matter anymore.
The foot steps brush against the grass. Then he spoke.
"Mom, you would have been so proud today. I got all straight As, it was hard at first, But I did it! We don't see dad much anymore. He locks himself away from everyone. When me and Holly were playing we found empty bottles everywhere. It's hard now. I miss you mommy. I wish you could read me that bedtime story again. But the doctor said you can't. He said your reading stories to angles now. Hopefully they are enjoying the stories like I did. I prey to god every night to see if your okay. I miss your caring voice. Oh I almost forgot I got you a red rosé. This stone doesn't describe your beauty but this rose will. I'll leave it here. I'm doing what you told me. I'm the man of the house now. Being a seven year old man is a little silly but I can handle it. Mommy one question why did cancer steal you from us?.... I guess no one knows. Well, I'll see you tomorrow I love you please take care of that rose." The boy left with his heart broken in his chest. Missing the most important thing a little boy needs. Suddenly the wind starts picking up quickly. It catches the rose, lifting it in the air. Then Vanishes never to be seen again.
