When I was murdered,

He said that it would be quick. That there would be no pain. He said that I had nothing to fear because this was natural. He said that he loved me. He said that he would never leave me. He said that he would never do anything to hurt me.

Yet, it was not quick. The pain was excruciating. I had everything to fear because I knew what was to come. He did not love me. He hated me. He did everything he could to hurt me.

And even though I lived past him,

He was the one who murdered me.
