This poem is a thought on the meaning of life and the short tenure one gets to understand it. By the time one starts understanding the beauty of life, death crawls and destroys him

Life – A boon or bane

That glitter in the eyes, those words untold

More eloquent than verses recited ‘n told

That  pause of breath, those broken words

Dipped in love, better than best ever deeds

When thoughts ‘r akin, why strain the voice

Even a glance enough for mind to rejoice

She who once created ripples in my mind

Now crippled in bed lifeless, is what I find

Those hands, once soft as rose, touching the soul

Now dry ‘n’ cold, so easy for Death to crawl

Oh God, why life so sweet, but short ‘n’ fickle

Like a crazy mistress who lures then prickle

Once soul departs, is it the beginning or the end?

No time to brood even; life z too short my friend!
