In the profoundness of a moment
I find myself unable to feel
unable to draw contentment
unable to take in a second

A silent explosion rips my being
rips it into a million pieces
Chaos rule in a quiet way
blocked inside my lifeless head

No skill or quickness
can cause an escape
from a life focused on a moment of pause
concentrated in a shell of empty being

In my state of wake unconsciousness
all that can be found
is a continuation of old sleep
