I roll from side to side, the waves rocking me back and forth as if I was a child in mother’s arms. My blank stare mirrors the sky above; deep blue, with masses of clouds dotting its beauty. The salty tang of water fills my mouth, seeming to want to become part of my very being. I dive into its murky depths, meeting its cold embrace snare my body at last. It seems as if I'm floating on clouds as I let the pressure take me downwards to the sandy sea floor. I land with a shower of sand floating around me, coating me in its sandiness. I lay there for a moment, absorbing my surroundings. Smiling as a school of multi colored fish swim over head, sending a rainbow of colors dancing over my face as the sun light flicker across their scales. I stare, wide eyed, as a great white shark swims over me. Showing little interest in a being that couldn't cause harm even if I wanted too. It passes, like all the life around me ignoring a girl on the sea floor as if it was a natural. My hair begins to float weightlessly around my head, finally escaping the bounds of the sand. Red streaks glimmer as it tirade around me. I just laugh as fish get caught and get strands attached to them. Like a banner of red. Bubbles stream from my mouth as I breathe, naturally as if I was a fish. Wish this was real I think staring up at the wavering light. "It could be...” A voice whispers in my ear "... You know how...” my smile fades, knowing how to... "No," I say aloud “I can't do that; people will die if I do" my voice is more of a whisper at the end. I know I can't... "Why do you care? People are what are killing these oceans. You will be saving these waters “I close my eyes letting the information sink in knowing its true. Just one thought... "Nooo!" I scream feeling the oceans lifting up, involving the land. Watching people drowned, whole cities gone beneath the waves. The ocean seems to grow quieter around me, echoing my scream back at me. “It’s all gone...." I whisper sitting up after the pressure releases, feeling that the oceans have gotten higher. “Wasn’t that easy Eilia?” The voice laughs, ringing around me. I cover my ears as the laughs intensify. Filling my ears as I fall into darkness...
