I am not one for writing poems but I wrote this for the writing challenge and due to medical issues could not post it in time. The goal of the challenge was to write a poem in twelve lines or less and include the words "faith", "hype", and"world" and the theme was 2012 thus far.

Capsized Stardust

By: DJ Berry

The communication of the hype of the downtown crowds’ reasons,

Resonantly oppugnant to fallacious images dispersed with

Euphoric-nose rubbers, and how infantile why is

Now an archaic inquest.  And place after place

Of the unglued world living under

A master’s cement lock -- a master that

Police are paid off for; a master that gets you

To annihilate your body in the worst manner, brutally with brutality

Unearthed from medieval times. And The Master’s suction

Leaves you empty. So the crowds, faith or no faith, walked

Out from church politely. Polite, naked, triumphant but for whom

Will the cotton blow amiable?
