I know people who think they are on the past to being righteouss just because they haven't killed anybody. Sure you might not steal or get a speeding ticket, but that isn't going to save you. Don't get me wrong, it is important to follow the rules set before us by those in authority, but don't forget God. We need to have His blood covering our sin and making us clean.

I used to have friends

who thought they were on the right path.

But their lives were filled with dead ends

and times they faced the Lord's wrath.

The lied to themselves

and screwed their whole families.

Dusty on their lives' shevles

was how it used to be.

Their lives we colorful

and filled with good deeds.

But hell has got a handful

of men who thought goodness is what they need.

They got what they had coming

that's all that I know.

They spent their whole lives running

but you always reap what you sow.

You can spend your whole life living

and doing all good deeds.

But righteousness isn't just giving

when it's not a God-filled life you lead.
