This is another one of my small writes on how I'll always be there to catch those who I care for when they fall, how I know the road they're on and will walk every step by their side.

My body is tired from this burden I lift

gaze into my eyes, see how they drift.

Penetrate my mind, understand each thought

touch those wounds from battles I've fought.

Breathing is heavy, the air is cold

trapped beneath the regret that I hold.

You're walking on my road, stumbling here and starting to fall

regain your balance, I've got your back for the love of it all.

You will not waiver, you will not fall, not you

for you'll be in my arms, I'll carry you through.

Believe in me, trust I'll be there

together we brave life's own lair.
