I wrote this because I love the waves. Sometimes I would just sit there and watch the waves rise and fall, like moments in life. We have our big moments, and we have our small ones. Sometimes we have tidal waves in life.

The waves break at your feet,

foamy froth tickles your toes.

Water sneaks through sand like deceit,

salty ocean spray on your clothes.

The tide ebbs away,

as the sun retreats from the sky.

Approaching is the end of the day,

but an absence of water, you don't know why.

Out in the distance is a wall of blue,

it draws closer quicker than you first thought.

Soon the wave towers over you,

you turned and ran, shelter you sought.

You run from the beach,

with so many others to save.

You to the people beesech,

run with me from the tidal wave.
