I don’t think any of us know who any of us are. I know that sentence might be a little confusing, but I don’t think that any of us know what we are doing most of the time. Are we really doing what we want to do? Or are we just doing it because that’s what we think we are supposed to do? I mean, take bathing for instance. The only reason we really need to bathe is for other people. So they can stand being around us, so that we don’t smell so bad that they choose to not be around us. That’s really the only reason. There are also those people that feel like being dirty is a very bad thing. It has got to have something to do with their childhood. Something happened to where when they are dirty, something in their mind clicks and they just have to be clean. I’ve seen it before, and I know that it comes from early childhood development. But I know that people with masters in psychology already figured that one out. I just find it interesting is all.

But the reasons that we do the things that we do, we just think that we need to do them. Or really we are just convinced that we really need to do them. Most of the time we don’t question doing them, and we just do them. Like stopping at a red light, and things like that. We know it is something to do because everybody else does it, well mostly everybody does it. We do what everybody else does, because we don’t want to be different, and we don’t want to be ridiculed. Because we also learn at a very young age that it is not hard to be made fun of for something that you are doing differently.
