You’ve gotta love humanity. I say this with a great deal of sarcasm, and irony, but there’s also some truth behind it. I think one of my main problems is that nobody can distinguish between when I’m being serious, and when I’m being sarcastic. It’s like I try to have a different tone, but it all ends up just sounding the same. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve pissed off in the process. But that’s neither here nor there, and not what I’d like to talk about.

I think there’s an exorbitant number of people that aren’t socially aware. It’s got to be true. I’ll give you an example if you don’t get what I’m saying. Say a class has a big test. One student gets a very good grade and starts bragging about it without even realizing there were other students that failed. That’s being socially unaware. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a crime, to be awkward that is. I’m just pointing out that they’re high in numbers. I’m pretty sure we’ve all seen them. The people that always look like the light bulb is flickering. They’re present, but not completely. It’s an interesting thing to witness.

Going back to the first sentence of this, you really do gotta love humanity. If not for its greatness then for its awkwardness. I mean, humans are created to create other humans. You would think that interacting with people is a semi-normal thing in life. You certainly can’t avoid it. I don’t know, maybe I’m trying to get into the nature vs. nurture debate, and that’s not where I wanted to take this.

I’m not nearly as malicious in this as I thought I would be. Maybe I’m not that depressed after all. While that is a good thing, not being depressed, it also means that I have nothing to write from. Maybe I’ll discuss my thought process on that on the next one.

I apologize if anybody found this boring, but this is just my first one of these. I can assure you they’ll get better. Please give me feedback. Thanks.
