\"\"Charcoal Dust\"\"

Alabaster is to dove
As
Ebony is to crow.
Variations only subtle
Masked wings obscured.
Pigmentation, tainted blood
Still pulsates through
Their hearts.
Morphing, smeared lines,
Of when transformation,
Starts.
Stoned heart is to corrupt
As
Cold heart is to mingled.
Emotions suffer turmoil
Switching sanity,
Faith dwindles.
External identity a charade,
An undecipherable start,
Be deceived by façade,
Or
Corrected by the heart.
