Done With It

I'm not sane

But I'm O.K.

Though I get paid

By the government still

I get my fill

And tell who cares

About myself, little by little

Fiddling my thumbs got boring

So I left the hospital

I decided to stop calling

The police on myself

And get put back in there, "at all"

God was on my side

Until I started using

I was substance abusing

And substance dependent until

I had to set a clean date

For orientation

To get it out of my system

Now I don't even own a Brillo

Put the crack away

But too late for Becky

I know she'll never call me again

Now I am in ruins

It'll take half a decade to get back

The things I sold for crack

And pay off

The debts I owe on Capital One

Whatever in the Hell happened?

I guess I went bonkers
