I got ev'rything I need

Yet I have nothing

I don't know

Maybe I'm something

Maybe I'm not

Maybe I'll wake up

When it get too hot

I'm assuming I am lonely

Since I portray all the symptoms

I don't know what's wrong with me tonight

Why I cannot get a life

This writing makes me sad

'Cause I feel so empty

How can I survive?

My heart, it is aching

And my life is not changing

"What am I doing wrong?"

Whatta I do that's right?

I am hurt tonight

Oh, what a fright

I can't get a life

I guess my mind's to blame

For why I live this way

A change of scenery

Is still the dream that never comes true

But is there really a different view out there?

That's why I'm scared
