Seeing It All This Way

-

If no one said

There'd be a way

I guess I'd have drowned in doubt

Having known none

If highways

To madness derailed

Would I have no life?

The finish line to the sound

Of a ringing bell

Surely is gone

But by stepping on my brain

They've all seemed to have found some one else

Well, if life was fair

We wouldn't only have a black president

But I'd be fucking some one

Right now

Yet, still, there is a war

And whitey rules the world

May a bomb collect the souls

Of many all?

But what is true?

The sound of a basketball

Or a grenade?

Maybe time already

Blew up in my face
