The Gift Regiven

-

Opening my heart

And my mind

At the same time

It's much different like this

It feels very thoughtful

And seems very emotional

The world around

Becomes imaginably the same as before

Madness shrinks

Normality grows

My wallet found some change

And words drop like rain

All wonder and awe explode

And overload of cavities of senses

Perceived thoughts escape the boundaries

Examined feelings soar the vast open air

I am rushing thru the breezes

Rust has disappeared

Anger has ceased and it's memories, locked

Fields of selected outlooks expand

I am carried away from death

I am carefully seeing it all again

And I can totally feel

My heart beat, and like it now

I can totally realize

Ev'rything's right where I left it

In the back of my head

Now it's all over me again

Out of the blue, I am

And into shades of grey

That are terrific'ly greater than remembered

It's as if it's better now

Harnessed onto the seat of my pants

I laugh

Here I am again

Here I am
