She smiles, pretending everything is ok. The world of pain she carries growing even heavier as she tries to convince herself that everything is ok. Alone she overflows like fountains sorrowful, painful, retching every fiber in her body to its core. Wondering what to do feeling so alone and lost with no one to understand her. She thinks often how can anyone understand or love the messy hollowness that has become her after countless raging storms and hurricanes within her. Leaving behind a such a fragile creature. Rain cloaks her tears as fissures in her heart rip it open more and more leaving behind raw and continuos reopening scars. She tries to lose herself in music and shows that once gave her comfort as a child to distract her from the pain and the memories of all the hurt. She sinks to the floor in showers closing praying forgiveness will come from her love and closing her eyes imagining that the water is washing away the lies filth pain and sorrow to a watery grave. Far away. Her faith shaken and her life again becoming a staged masquerade to hide her pain and heartache. But her mask doesn't hide the storm clouds nor the color of rain eyes.
