What I Want For My Future

So I sit down and rewind

I left my head somewhere in the desert

Along with my heart

I broke down and fell apart

How do I blank my mind?

Can't seem to meditate

This junk yard, called, thee Earth

Is throwing me off it's boat

Will I switch sides of hope

And learn to pick up the pieces

Of my shallow heart?

I wanna have more feelings

Like I remember I had

As a kid

Well, if I didn't grow up yet

What happened to all my emotions?

Did I sit on a parked car

And carry my conversations too far?

The future's unknown

So I should have more confidence

But I really don't

I sit upon the world

And let myself go

I'm hittin' the stores

When I get my renters' rebate

My, that's such a long time to wait

Oh, time, I can't escape

I'll just have to wait

"I wanna notice more things

I want a scene of spirituality again

Before the day I am dead

Please, I said"
