A Heart Like That, I Don't Want

You probably didn't know what to do

__with that message

I don't care

Sue me if I had a dream about you

You have a dog anyway

Maybe you just wanna stay away from me

Not 'cause you know I hate dogs

But because I'm too young

And have no backbone

Nor car

And not enough money

I don't know

Maybe I'm just "ugly"

Must be my teeth

Or the fact that I'm still growing hair

Up there

Where I'm supposed to be balled

I must be scrawny looking to you

Or just plain "small"

I'm so sad to have lost you

I don't have a way to get over it

And off of the topic of you

It's depressing

Couldn't change the fact that you love him

But I can take the focus off of you

And maybe forget my love for you

__ever existed

Or not

I could just drown in agony

But it's not my fault that you

__don't even like me

So why should I beat myself over the head?

I'd rather be dead than let this kill me

But of course I'd die either way

I didn't do this to me

You did
