taken from my book, "Taking Our Sweet Little Time"

And So It Is Now

I coulda' had my head chopped off foreva'

Knowing my wasted mind would neva' matta'

Hence the closing

Of the times

What wonderous wanderings can I fathom?

I licked my brand spanking new ideas

__right off of my plate

Slimely, my envisions were a whole different meaning

The rocks I dodged

The 'bots that trotted along

Heated up the moment

That tagged along

Frostbitten like a seamless lace

Hate me not until I go on foreva'

Want not but a han'kerchief to fall

To the grounds below

__from the graves above

In the sky

__where the dead come from

Hold me down to the sounds of thee opera

Maybe I can approach my own self

__in the mirror

Have a good glance at

The cup of tea

__that I clench at

Wake me down

__and I'll throw up all over town

Until the bees come to town

To let thee innocence begin
