Another Day Outside Of Paradise

Runnin' around my own maze for days

Just wondering if you're O.K.

Things have to be getting better for you

They just have to

I can hardly survive out here without you

I went on a trek to get away from it all

On this day of my sister's birthday

As she was on a marathon

Hours after she was done that is

I've been meaning to run track

But I never got up there lately

I'm showering almost ev'ryday

Just not enough towels

I hear the cogs working in my brain

The words sound so insane

How can snack time be over

Just because' what my psychiatrist says?

But at least I have milk

I forgot my eggs and bacon where you live

Looks like I'll be rushing back for breakfast

You know, Tuesday is payday

And I've got an amends to finish

I wonder if you're sleeping right now

But then again I wonder a lot of things

I hope you're getting the rest you need

"Tomorrow's another day

Of trial for your behavior"

Sounds like a terrible way to put it

But that's always been how it is in there

Sleep tight, and remember

God is ev'rywhere

Watching over all of us

"I'm on my way to eat dinner

And sleep, again, without you"

Yeah, it sucks

Good night, my love
