Being 4 Guys

-

The death that may fall

It aches me all

While one of me shops for some food

Another is sprung off of you

And another cat calls to the hos at the market

While the last has to pick up the check

-

My final escape into the sky

Flutters all my hopes

One of me hopes to fly some day

Another hopes for love from somebody

And another just wants sex

While the last would rather just die than try

-

The life of ev'ry hour

Smothers the life out of every flower

As one of me can't breathe

Another one of me panics

And another one of me laughs

Then the last has to react

-

The comfort in sorrow

Just don't exist

When one of me is a mess

Another is negligent

And another makes it worse

Until the last cleans it up

-

Fixing the world does no good

When none of that fixes either of me

A certain me is attentive to detail

And another distorts the picture

And then another doesn't care to even look

And then the last is always demanded to plainly explain
